Let me tell you a sad story about a sportsman who spent more than a hundred thousand dollars to cover his medical treatment and evacuation. This guy has travel insurance and unfortunately, he ended up hurting himself resulting to serious damage that’s why he was rushed to the hospital quickly for emergency medical evacuation which only happened to get when he paid thousands of dollars. He thought that his travel insurance covers medical evacuation. Unluckily, it is not included in the coverage. It is important that you review your travel insurance policy first before buying it.
